Heh! Heh! Now there's a devilish metaphysical topic! (ignoring all
the issues of feasibility)

Can imagination replace physical sensation?

For example, could the combination of total information on the printed
page (graphs of every aspect of the music, hard to imagine, but suppose
it was possible) and the capability to process all of this information
in your nervous system and to connect the results to your memories of
previous sensory experiences (activate your own cortical neurons via
'imagination') ---- could all of this ever equal the physical
experience?

I think I'll leave that question alone !!!
