This happens to me periodically after I've put the instrument down for a few
weeks (or months), and then try to make up for lost time by long practice
sessions. The best way to deal with it that I've ever heard came from (this
should be no surprise) Ed Lacy, here on the list a couple of years ago.
Basically, he said that as soon as you start to perceive the leak, stop and
rest. Eventually you get back to where you should be.
