Thanks to those of you in NY and at the Pentagon that have checked in.
I didn't realize I had developed a personal friendship with fellow
players whom I have never seen. Good luck getting things back
together. Here in the Gold Rush Country of California flags are coming
out everywhere and so are red, white, and blue ribbons on speed limit
signs, tree branches at the sides of the roads, power poles - just
everywhere. I suspect they will be there until the battle is over and
maybe long after. It seems at least a quarter of the people are trying
to give blood but the lines are so long they have to make appointments
for a future date. Sorry to anyone I may have offended in the last two
days. I have been somewhat angry but cautious in my feelings about what
happened and had to get some things off my chest. As i said last night,
It is nice to be in a country where we agree it is OK to disagree and be
different. I am now going to take out my fathers WW2 Veterans burial
flag and display it out at the end my drive way.

Here, the NPR station has been playing some somber but extremely
beautiful and powerful music. If others are listening to the same
stations, do you know the name of the clarinet solo pieces they are
using? They have been perfect for the clarinet and excellent for the
beauty of the clarinet tone. Very emotional too.

Good luck to all

Gary
