Gene Nibbelin reminds us:

<< 1938 - "Peace in our time." Neville Chamberlain, Prime Minister of Britain

You know what that got us.>>

Gene,

I was not around before WWII, but I have read and studied history extensively, from the time the first settlers set foot on this country, to the present day.

History teaches us many lessons. One of those is that peace is ONLY allowed those who are willing to fight for it. Unfortunately, some must die, in order to guarantee peace and security for others.

I was (am) of the Viet Nam generation. Luckily I was not chosen to go to Viet Nam. I;m not sure I would have gone........

But World War II? Hitler? Let me at 'em.

Who was it that said, "The price of peace is eternal vigilance"?

Walter Grabner
