Subj: [kl] A Time for Prayer and Forensics
Date: Tue, 11 Sep 2001 19:58:32 -0400

Hello, Everyone.

I'm on several Instrument and Composer Lists. A
few people have expressed rage against certain groups
for the terrorist bombing of the World Trade Center
Buildings and the Pentagon. Right now, we don't have
all the facts.

This is a time for Prayer for the dead, injured and
their families, as well as a time for cautious, logical
science, to do the Forensics necessary to find out who
did, and who did not, do this act of war.

It we run around accusing the wrong people, we
would be no better than the terrorists, who just killed
thousands of people, who have never harmed them.
Justice may be slow, but it can be thorough and
correct, when it is careful.

In the last 20 years, there have been many movies
about a psychotic American Military Man, or an angry
Third Government or Terrorist Group, that would be
happy to have the US and another Political Group
nuke each other. We need to KNOW who did this,
and NOT mistakenly accuse someone, who may have
been Framed for this evil act!

Let's remember that 6,000 years ago, Persia was a
great culture, and many Middle Eastern and European
Cultures and Religions are now descended at least partly
from them. We owe a lot to the great people of those
ancient cultures. There are always great and evil people
in every culture; lets show our respect to the good
things, and avoid emulating the bad things.

JFK's assassination was at least covered-up by ALL
of the American Congress, and Timothy McVeigh was
hardly a foreigner. We have too many evil people here,
who might have been a part of this act of terrorism. I
think we need to be scientific, and not accuse anyone
of anything, until after a LOT of data is gathered.

This is a Time for Prayer and Forensics, not anger
at people who might be innocent. I'm very worried for
our friends in New York, Washington D.C., and
Shanksville Pennsylvania. My Prayers and Love to
all of you.
