The death of Everett Matson is indeed sad news. I did not know him well,
but he was nice enough to spend an afternoon with me in October of 1993 and
showed me many of his techniques.He was , as Chris said, a very generous
person and very open with his knowledge. He will be greatly missed by many
clarinetists.
