Actually, it was interesting to think (once again) about the connections
between music and language. The music made the words infinitely more
powerful. I'm certain that I remember more Irish history from the
ballads and laments that I heard than I remember from the wall plaques
that I read.

Is this because music and language are two paths to the same mental
processes, or is it because the 'multi-media' approach captures the
brain by brute force?
