I've performed it four or five times. I believe I played off of a part
that was entirely Bb - but it was loaned music (I don't own a copy), so
perhaps my memory is poor. Perhaps he altered the edition, or, more
likely, the clarinet player(s) I performed with didn't move to A
clarinet? I just don't remember.
