Dear David, That may be true, but you can't always predict what the
future will bring. I accidentally met my best clarinet student, David
Kumpf, on Sneezy. I hope I didn't embarrass you, David. My association
with various people on Sneezy has changed the way that I look at a lot
of things, One time I got into an argument with my now UK pal, Tony
Wakefield over "decrecendo vs diminuendo" because I was trying to talk
to Terry Sterkel about long tones, which he had never heard of. I
eventually went to NYC and gave Terry a long clarinet lesson at the
Woodwind & Brass store, where I was able to demonstrate in person, how
to practice long tones. Later on Tony Wakefield sent me some beautiful
sheet music which is in a special envelope of prized possessions. I plan
to go visit Tony and Martin Powell some day because they are both so
dear to me. This clarinet student, Ferat, may meet a virtuoso on Sneezy
that lives right near him. You never know what could happen. ANNIE
