Subj: [kl] Concave versus convex - I did it again!
Date: Wed, 5 Sep 2001 09:58:19 -0400

Clark Fobes was kind enough to point out that in my most recent post, where I was trying to clarify waht I had been saying about mouthpiece facings, I muddied the water by using the term convex, when I meant concave.

SO -

Walter looks in dictionary:

Convex - Having a surface that curves outward. From Latin; convexus, to bring together.

Concave - hollow and curved, like a section of the inside of a sphere. From Latin, concavus, hollow.

Maybe now I'll get it right.

Sheeeeesh!

Walter
