I think that both Myatt's and Windcraft/Dawkes do rental. Don't know if they
would do it as a short-term thing.

Just for the heck of it, I searched on Google with:

"alto saxophone" rental England

(notice the quotation marks)

I received a number of hits. A few of them were for rental sheet music
rather than for rental instruments, and a few of them were for "New
England" rather than "England", but a couple of them seemed to be
candidates for what you need.
