The Noblet is an excellent intermediate clarinet. However it is almost
impossible to determine the ages of Noblets as there are no serial number
records. However call Leblanc in Kenosha, Wisconsin and ask for Dave
Surber. He *may* be able to help you.

As to whether the Noblet is better than the Yamaha 34, that would be a
matter of opinion as both are quality intermediate level instruments. I'm
not sure which level of Leblanc intermediate it would equat to though (i.e.
Normandy, Noblet 40, or Noblet 45). Try them and pick the one you like. I
personally like Leblanc made instruments but have never tried a Yamaha.
Both have fine reputations.

Don't get on people for a little humor. I know they had no help for you but
it was harmless.
