Hello, Klarinet List and Klarinet List Moderator.

I don't play clarinet, nor any instrument. I gave up
piano many years ago, due to nerve damage to the
right arm, from which I have had to switch to writing
left-handed, ever since.

However I am a composer, in my 40's, and am
writing a series of Unaccompanied pieces, Chamber
Works, Sonatas and Concertos for each orchestral
instrument. At the moment, I am printing up the
Part Books for my Horn Concerto, and next I have
to revise a Concerted work for Harp and Orchestra,
and work on another new chamber piece that features
a Solo Tuba.

I have also been chubby and bearded for years,
so I am known by the nickname "Bear" to leading
musicians all over the world. I don't even have a
website yet, but I have been on several Instrument
Lists, like this one, for 2 1/2 years.

I recently got a message saying that your people
do not recognize my E-Mail Address, and that your
people think that I am not getting my Daily Digests.
I assure you that I am, indeed getting my Klarinet
Daily Digests, for months without any problem, but
if your system is having confusion, I may know why.

February 2001, and forwarded my E-Mail for a
number of weeks.

I haven't had anything to contribute to this List
for months, but I am considering ideas for a new
Quintet for Bb Clarinet, Violin, Viola, Cello and a
String Bass, (instead of the usual string quartet). I've
already begun sketching the first movement, but I
have so many previous obligations.

Please switch all my accounts for your Klarinet
List Daily Digests to my New E-Mail Address. I
thank you for your time, and hope that this confusion
hasn't caused too much trouble.
