Dan,

I'm awfully glad to know this - because it was the edition I was first
given too. However, your comments since that time have been very
beneficial in helping me to determine better versions of it - namely, the
ones you mentioned earlier as being very good.

Just a quick comment about Bb version vs. A version. If one is of the
opinion that the piece should not be played until college or later - than A
version all the way. If one is of the opinion that the piece should be
learned by younger students and gradually adapted and built upon as years
go by (as I was and many other wonderful performers - probably even Dan!),
then I have no problem with the Be version.
