Alisha says :

<<Yes, that's me. Alexandria, VA to be exact.>>

Alisha, I lived in Alexandria Va, for several years and enjoyed it a lot. Is there still an Alexandria Symphony? I played in that group for several years and had a lot of fun. We rehearsed at T.C. Williams High School (immortalized in "Remember the Titans"). Who is the conductor now?

Do you know a clarinetist by the name of Carol Kilroy? She was a friend of mine then. Unfortunately, I've lost contact with her. She was quite good.

ANother anecdote about the Alexandria Symphony. One night Carol couldn't make it and we had a sub. Hw was VERY accomplished. I introduced myself. The sub turned out to be Cecil Gold. (And he had just finished teaching a former student of mine, Cindy Amthor.) I didn't even know Cecil was living in town, I believe he was working on a DMA at Catholic University.

Does anybody know where Cecil is these days?
