I kind of like the new styling myself, but I understand what you're
saying, having had similar complaints with other
things/musicians/cars/hair care products before. It's not like the new
casing really improves the DM in anyway, unless it somehow amplifies the
beat (maybe a minature Bose acoustical chamber? *laughs*).

Actually, it looks exactly like the Korg CA20, their bottom of the line
tuner that has gained a lot of popularity. They're both (I would wager,
having only seen the CA in reality) about the size and thickness of an
audio cassette.
