Bill,

He knew, but he didn't want to believe. He's a trombonist, and he
continually refered to himself. "Oh, I like dabbling in the clarinet too,
but our primary instrument is trombone, you can't just throw that away."
Except, I could, it was my choice to make, and he knew I was pursuing music
in some sort in college. I told him clarinet was what I cared about, but he
didn't want to believe me. Of course, he also made his daughter first
chair, when there are better trumpet players... <.<
