Many of us in the NYC area use Tomoji at Woodwind and Brasswind on 50 West
23rd St. Toll free at 800 767 5764 ask for Jonathon Watkins (store manager
and overall very accomodating guy) to check on repair costs and Tomoji's
backlog of repairs (he does many of the NYC pros Buffet's). Store # is 212
627 7229. I've had my Bb done (fabulous job) and my A which also needed
undercutting on one tone hole, and it played like a different horn.
Another possibility, which many of us use is Guy Chadash at 440 West 41st
St. (between 9th and 10th ave). 212-239-7187. Another very fine repair
person/clarinet technician/clarinet builder/Buffet custom barrels. etc...

Subject: [kl] Clarinet Overhaul

> Hello all, I am currently in need of an overhaul of my clarinets. I live
in Central Pennsylvania, and go to school in Northern NJ. I was wondering
if any of you have a technician in mind that does a great job. I have
contacted the Brennan's and am waiting for an estimate of the work. But
just incase that is more than I can fork over, I'd like to have some names
on-deck. Thanks much.
