Ahhh, thank you! Thanks to all the responses about the C clarinets, I am
much enlightened and encouraged! Thanks especially to Dee D. H. for
measurements (I was able to send this info to non-woodwond-playing e-bay
auctioners who then were able to confirm they were in fact selling b-flat
clarinets or at least not C clarinets - by way of the measuring tape test)
and to Emily W. for the link to a photo of a C clarinet; clearing up my
wondering about if the C clarinet has some bizaare key pattern by which I
could recognize it. (Not to mention the really cool article) Thanks fellow
squwackers.
