No disrespect ANNIE, but the fact that so-and-so plays a B-45, is really irrelevant. If I went through 100 or so B-45's, selected the one I liked best, touched it up here and there, and adopted my embouchure and reeds to the mouthpiece, I could probably play well enough that few would note any difference.

The vast experience of most players, however, is that this mouthpiece, albeit the "standard" in the industry, lacks certain necessary attributes.
