Fred, I was in New Orleans last week. The shuttle desk is near baggage
claim. You can't reserve your trip into NO beforehand, but you can pick up
your ticket at the shuttle desk and reserve your return (to the airport)
ticket at that time. Tickets were $10.00 each way, and the return pickups of
all the people in our party was right on time. Other than the actual drivers
being impatient and insane (IMHO), the trip was pretty easy both ways. Good
