Not to perpetuate an off-topic thread too much, but Salon.com had a good article
a few days ago about "parasite" programs that piggyback on other software, often
with major privacy and security implications. The article talks a lot about the
KaZaA software, which I believe is the program Jim downloaded. KaZaA is
apparently notorious just for the sheer number of other programs that come along
for the ride.
