Dear Fellow Clarinetists:

It gives me great pleasure to report to you that I have just heard David
Hattner's new CD entitled "The Clarinetist Composer" and it is excellent.
David displays a clean and even technique, a live, clear sound which he uses
expressively and excellent articulation.
Recording music composed by clarinetists was a great idea. I wish that I had
thought of it!
Now I'm going to dig out those Jettel etudes and practice.
