Jim,
You probably downloaded an annoying piece of software (there are a number of
them) that examines the pages and provides "suggested" links. It's also
called "annotation software". It's normally downloaded and installed under
the guise of "Internet advisor" or "Internet search helper" or something
like that. It may be illegal under copyright laws; there are a couple of
cases being heard currently concerning this software because it modifies the
pages being viewed and that may infringe on the copyright.

Check your installed software and try & figure out which one you agreed to
use.

Lotsa luck (and a reminder to read the fine print every time to agree to
install some software or use some service!)
