I think you've identified an ethical question here, not a legal one,
provided you don't go about maliciously or recklessly putting about harmful
innuendo. I should put a wishy-washy lawyer's caveat to this by saying that
the law varies ever so slightly :) from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and If
you are worried about something you have said, you should of course get
advice from someone admitted to practice in your jurisdiction. GAVIN

A question for the lawyers on the list - hypothetical, of course. If you
knew that a professor at a university had a reputation for sexually
harassing
students, and you knew personally someone who had recently been a victim,
and
you had a student who was planning to go to this school and study with this
person, what, if anything, could you say to this student to warn them?
