Gene,

As a fellow returnee to the clarinet after many years, have you noticed any
weakness in the jaw or mouth muscles? This has been bothering me for
months, even though I play every day for 30 to 40 minutes. I seem to need
to rest the chops every 10 minutes or so. And as recently as a year ago I
never had this problem. As recently as 4 years ago I played for hours with
no problem. I stopped again, then started about 2 years ago. This
time...problems.
