This first site gives a brief description of the writing of the No. 2 Sonata,
but tells nothing about the style. Also shown is a picture of the CD's
'cover.' I ordered this sonata from Luyben Music, and they told me that the
publisher (I didn't ask who) is kind of slow in responding. It is now on
backorder.

This second site is dedicated to Wilfred Josephs, who died in 1997. It
contains a picture and a bio of the composer. It also gives some insight into
his style. I was particularly interested in the fact that he wrote music for I
Claudius, which was one of my favorite TV shows!

This third site is also dedicated to the discography of Wilfred Josephs, and it
lists some of his other works. Make sure that you look at the program notes at
the following site. It gives a lengthy description of the composer and his
violin works.
