Not at all. I certainly thought that you had put some considerable common
sense into your mail. As regards the summer break, a few posters go on
holiday, so it might get a bit quiet at times. Don`t worry tho` we`re all
lurking around, and postings "bits".

I hope you have an enjoyable time in Prague. My experience on coach travel
and smaller instruments has brought hardly anything bad. During the 60`s
&70`s when we used to tour on the continent, we were all responsible for our
own small instruments. Big stuff of course went in the luggage hold. But we
<wanted> to keep our clarinets, flutes and oboes with us, as there is some
danger of them being thrown around in any gaps in-between large containers
in the boot. Not so strong smaller cases can get crushed. I would definitely
try to keep your clarinet with you, on the coach, and at all times.
Especially so in the town square concerts. Instruments can disappear all too
quickly if you leave them on your chair and take you eye off them even for a
couple of moments.
