Well, that's not quite right. Actually, you may never have to spend cash =
eBay if you verifify your Bank account & then elect to be a Premiere member:
That's because you will receive a MUCH higher limit for credit card
spending, & it won't cost you a thing (at present, unless you sell
something) to be a Premiere account member

Per Paypal - "Effective June 6, 2001 the Sending Limit for Unverified
accounts will be raised from $250 to $1,000. All accounts opened prior to
June 6, 2001 will have their Sending Limit increased to $1,000. As before,
once a member reaches his $1,000 limit, he will no longer be able to send
money with his account until he has become Verified by adding and confirming
a bank account."

Those who decide to get verified, get higher credit card spending limits, so
you have MORE of those FREE LOANS. mw

From: Bill Hausmann ---We, at least now somebody has explained the reason
for it. It does not make me more willing, but at least it makes sense. I
figure my feedback record on eBay is good enough proof of my =
honesty. And frankly, I would rather use the credit card as a 25-day free
loan and make the money on the float MYSELF!"
