I don't understand why this is a pity - granted, I'm not experienced in
the ways of parenting, not being a parent...But I would think that giving
your children guidance, and protecting them from what you feel they should
be protected from is a very LARGE part of parenting. I would even wager
that there is great joy and pride in the natural instinct of protecting
and teaching one's own offspring....I just can't see how it's a pity.
Anyways...that's enough out of me.
