This is a understatement. I find it fascinating to discuss musical
aesthetics with others. There really is no right or wrong answer, just
different perspectives. This helps others to learn from people who are
dissimilar to you. As a musician, I find it this the most important part of
musical development: the ability to remain open to learning something new.

But treading on my individual rights is intolerable, no matter how well
intentioned it may be. Everyone has the right to choose what is
aesthetically pleasing to them. The alternative starts to sound scarily
fascist by eroding our liberties piece by piece. I find it fascinating that
we are having this discussion in the month of revolution, 7/4 for the US
and 7/14 for France. It must be in the air.
