Hello,

If it does not matter, why are you proud of it? ;-)

In addition to your post, I want to add:
In my experience, I switch to stronger reeds (only the variations you find
in a box) when I am a bit out of practice, as I do not earn money with
clarinet playing, time is often a bit short. I find lighter reeds need
more control but give a better sound if you can manage them. But I am
talking about nuances in reed strength without altering the setup
otherwise.

I play a number 3 and I played this strength since my first lesson and
never felt the urge to buy stronger reeds. My teacher has found the
right reed for my setup. Never touch a running system!

Christian
