A clarinetist acquaintance of mine, a retired school band director, recently
had successful cataract surgery. He was advised not to do any heavy lifting
for a while; I guess this can pressure the eyes unnecessarily. So the
questions come up: should he also avoid playing clarinet? -- he is, to be
on the safe side -- and for how long?

Thanks in advance.
