For Cindy's C mouthpiece, I tried out several blanks on both of my Cs,
and found that the Bundy 3s from the 60s-70s seemed to tune well,
particularly on my old Chedeville C clarinet. My Noblet with a Chadash
barrel plays well with my regular Bb mouthpiece, but my older horn isn't
as good this way. What I did with Cindy's mouthpiece was to use a
standard Matson-style facing. I then had to widen the sidewalls up by
the window going into the bore, and then did a little upper baffle
scraping. I didn't have to change the bore at all. BTW, these blanks
work well on Bb, also. Let me know if this works for you.
