I recorded at Get Reel Productions, owned by Allan Blackwell, located at
the top ot Moreno off 8th street in the same building with a local TV
station. (I forget which one) Allan has always done great work for me on
all my demos. He had a big mic sort of near the bell. I told him that I
prefered to have a mic more in the vicinity of the tone holes. I never
like to perform with my bell near the mic. I just don't like the tone.
He says that it's hard to get a good clarinet tone in the studio. I am
so disappointed that I am thinking of quitting the contest. I hope our
next session goes better. ANNIE
