Klarinet Archive - Posting 000376.txt from 2001/07
From: "David C. Kumpf" <dkumpf@-----.com> Subj: RE: [kl] Thanks! Date: Sat, 14 Jul 2001 15:48:55 -0400
It just occurred to me that there might be an even easier way - some
browsers have a "send page by email" or "send link by email" command,
usually on the browser menu. Unfortunately, I can't check on the Mac for you
at the moment, as mine is busy recording an LP to disk (with a wonderful
free application called Coaster). But next time you open your browser, you
can look for this.
Of course, you don't want to try to send a page by email to the klarinet
list; it won't work due to filtering in the list server (Mark can
elaborate). However, send link *should* work. (I don't remember exactly how
the links are encoded and would need to go look at that.)
Just another suggestion.
