Tony, You're gonna kill me, but I haven't taken them to the piano
accompanist yet. This morning I'm recording the Rose #26 in the studio
while I still have the perfect reed to play on. (I know that's the
incorrect use of a preposition, but I don't know how else to say it. How
do you say it?) I'm going off to the Waffle House to have some scrambled
eggs, grits and cheeze before my recording session. I do wish that you
could come with me to breakfast, Tony. I know you could make me laught.
At the present time, I don't seem to have any terminal respiratory
ailments, so I will probably be able to knock the Rose off, then have
some breathing (literally) space before I have to go back and do the
"Devil's Dance" in a couple or 3 weeks.. By the way, I promise that I
will send you a copy of the "Devil's Dance". Anyhow, it will be a great
relief to finish the Rose today. After I'm done with it, then I will go
visit my piano accompanist, Dan Wiencek, who will be accompanying me on
"Hauntings", and also do a run-through on "Walking the Dog". That should
happen sometimes next week. I have to play at a nursing home later this
afternoon. I always enjoy those. I'm off to the Waffle House. ANNIE
