No no - my bass is the opposite (or, rather, the University's bass). The
one I speak of is a 1983 Buffet RC Prestige. I don't know if Buffet was
making R13 Prestiges at the time, but the bass has that cool metal oval
with the stamp: RC Prestige. They may not make them anymore, or market
them in North America, as (or at least MY understanding, which is often
wrong, is) the RC was the European market clarinet and the R13 was the NA
market clarinet during the mid 70s-mid 80s.

For me, it'll be any bass that I can actually call my own. *laughs*

I own an alto and a tenor sax, and my father inquired about a soprano,
but I really think I should get another clarinet...the question is...and
it's so easily debatable...do I buy an A? Or do I get a bass???

Whichever shall I choose? I would have them both! *inside joke for any
Ranma 1/2 fans out there*
