That may well be so Richard, but lets not bash Vandoren at the expense of others. Can someone name another maker of stock mouthpieces that do a BETTER job? I think not.

What about the makers or clarinets. I always have a good laugh when I read in the catalog, about a model of clarint that is bored to a specific bore size.

Get four samples of that clarinet model and measure them, and see how many, if any actually hit that spec!

Ed Maury will tell you how many.
