I just tried a few mouthpieces owned by a friend. Two were very
tight/focused. Unfortunately, one has no markings; it was given to him by a
professor. The other was a Blaymann...something else for you to try, anyway,
if you can find one.

I also tried a Lakey that he had. I don't remember the exact facing.
However, I would describe it as turning your clarinet up to 11. (Inside joke
from the movie "This is Spinal Tap.") My friend does mostly jazz gigs and
uses this mouthpiece to play jazz. It is quite loud and full, but I
definitely did not like it. Quite different than anything I have ever
played.
