Based on my last three years, I can say that there this is already
happening. I have a strong hunch that Vandoren and Woodwind Co. are
selling less mouthpieces than they did 10 years ago - they can't be selling
as many with all these other folks making them.

But in my opinion, mouthpiece makers are pricing themselves out of the
market - and so the mouthpieces that could and should be played often only
go to the people with the $ - not the most talented.

But, I digress!
