If I'm not mistaken, the title is "Movie Favorites" and it is available for
full band or can be used individually. Each double page has the solo melody
on one side and the part for full band arrangement on the other. I've used
these with my band students before and they love it because even if they don't
get melody in band class, they canstill enjoy it alone or with their band
friends. I agree that anything which gives the kids successful experiences is
worthwhile especially as beginners. Some band method books come with CD
accompaniment, too, and the kids can use them at home to practice. It first
plays the melody line for you, then gives a full band accompaniment while the
musician plays the written piece.

Hope this helps.
