Pretty much all of my practice time lately is taken up with repertoire for
the Saginaw Eddy Concert Band, a paid summer band in which I play 1st chair
2nd clarinet. We rehearse twice a week during the summer and play an
entirely different concert each week of the season. We are making a CD
later this summer.

Before I got busy with that, I was working on the Weber Concertino, and
intermittently with his 1st Concerto. On alto sax I have been challenging
myself with the "Tribute to Rudy Weidoeft." If I ever get it, I may try to
perform it with the Bay Concert Band (Bay City, MI), in which I play 1st
alto. Probably not THIS winter. Maybe next.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
