What are you currently practicing and why? I got this question from my
husband who has been kicking it around with the other trumpet players who
subscribe to TPIN, a trumpet list serve. It has been fun to see what other
people are doing. I am working through the Kell Staccato studies book,
Klose technique studies from the complete edition of his method, and the
Premiere Rhapsody by Debussy. I am also making use of the current klarinet
discussion on smearing to develop skill.
