I cannot finger^H^H^H^Hgure out which fingerings you mean, probably
because of my own ignorance. I have only one Bb in the clarion register
(above the staff) [...]

Exactly this I mean. The usual fingering is finger 1 and 2 of LH (this
gives the note A) plus one of the two possible "side" keys (LH 3rd
finger or RH 1st finger). The long fingerings are alternatives.
