For years I used selmer Series 9's in orchestral playing. I simply used the
stock barrel on both Bb and A. The stock barrel had a little "9" stamped on
it. Buffet barrels were a mess on them.

Intonation problems are more likely to be MP related. (I used a Pyne.)
