With the right barrel, the Series 9 is a wonderful instrument. Without it
it's crap. In this area (central PA) it would be worth $300. to $400, as
is. It will have to be gone over by a good technician and you MUST find a
good barrel - or risk ruining the clarinet experience for your child.
