The Series 9 is a sought after instrument by jazz clarinetists and klezmer
players as well. However, if your daughter is playing in orchestra or
planning to, the Series 9 has too many serious intonation issues to be
usable. I believe it would prove frustrating in the long run.

A used Buffet will be a safer choice, and will probably not cost that much
more.
