I doubt very much if clarinets in B-natural are made (though perhaps one
could special order them), but that Mozart requests them in two places
in Così is certain. The normal substitution of clarinets in A (which
allows the written key signature to stay within classical norms) results
in an orchestral pallette of sound that is different from that which
would exist if clarinets in B-natural were used.

How important this is, is in the eyes of the player.
