Today I feel as though I know nothing. I am trying to practice a lot,
and I am not in the mood to mess with reeds, so I have been playing on
my Legere #3 3/4 for a few days. I went over to Colorado College this
morning because I knew Jon Manasse would be there rehearsing for his
annual performances at the Colorado College Music Festival. He says that
he is currently buying boxes of Vandoren 3 1/2, not V-12's. Since I have
not been able to find a good reed in about a week, I think I'll also try
some regular old Vandorens in addicution to some V'12's and Evolution.
If I don't have any luck, I'm going back to my Legere. ANNIE
